Held over Independence Day weekend, the Free Flight Festival celebrates Lakeview's heritage as the Hang Gliding Capital of the West. Watch pilots launch from Black Cap and soar over the Goose Lake Valley on the legendary Lakeview thermals.
The weekend is packed with a parade, vendor fair, live music, a car show, kids' activities, and a spectacular Fourth of July fireworks display. It's the biggest event of the Lake County summer — bring the whole family.
