About Lakeview
Lakeview is the county seat and the hub of Lake County life — home to the courthouse, the hospital, the schools, the Chamber, and a genuine, walkable downtown of historic brick storefronts. At 4,800 feet, it proudly calls itself the Tallest Town in Oregon.
It's also where the outdoors meets everyday life: Old Perpetual (one of the only geysers in the Northwest) bubbles just north of town, the Warner Mountains rise to the east, and Black Cap launch makes Lakeview the self-proclaimed Hang Gliding Capital of the West. Friendly, four-season, and full of character.
