About Oregon Timber Trail

The Oregon Timber Trail is a 670-mile backcountry mountain-bike route running the length of the state โ€” and it begins in the Fremont Tier right here in Lake County. It's regarded as one of the premier long-distance singletrack adventures in the country.

Riders climb through ponderosa forest, along high ridgelines, and across sage country, camping under the Outback's dark skies. Whether you ride a section or the whole tier, it's an unforgettable wilderness experience.

๐ŸŒŒ Dark Sky Tip

You're inside the world's largest Dark Sky Sanctuary. Pack a red flashlight, give your eyes 20 minutes to adjust, and plan around a new moon for the best view of the Milky Way.
